Convention Invitation
O.K. So maybe, you have been living in a cave all these past months and don't
know about the up-coming Asaba National Convention. First, up-date:
- The Asaba National Convention is slated for November '98
- The convention is being hosted by Asaba National association, Inc
- The Host city this year is Atlanta
- All Asaba Unions in the United States are full participants in this convention
- The purpose of this convention is to raise money for ANA
so that it can viably engage in beneficial projects in Asaba
- Every Asaba man, woman and Child around the globe is invited.

DETAILS
Over the past several months preparations have been underway for what will certainly be the gathering of a lifetime for all Asabans of all walks of life.
Asaba National Association, Inc (ANA) is finally taking a major leadership role in organizing and sponsoring the first ever Asaba National convention and fund raising weekend in November.
ANA is the umbrella association that will consolidates the efforts of all the local unions in the United States into one powerful entity, with each local union however, maintaining its autonomy.
So far ANA has received full blessings of each local union. All local unions know that with a collective effort and one voice, ANA can go a long way in providing a more meaningful effort towards the ultimate goal - make Asaba better.
Members of the convention planning committee are scheduled to meet on the weekend of may 29th in Atlanta for a more intense meeting. Mr Peter Nwanze who proposed the meeting after months of tele-conferencing believes that a lot will be achieved with a face to face meeting. It will certainly save a lot of money being paid to the phone companies.
