PRE-SUMMIT REPORT

On behalf of ANA, Inc., the President would like to thank the Dallas Chapter for hosting therecently concluded Pre-Summit Meeting. He would also like to thank the various ChapterRepresentatives, who braved snow and storm to travel from far and wide to attend themeeting. If the effort and hard work exhibited by the Dallas Chapter is a sign of things tocome, then you are in for a wonderful time this October. Get your reservations in, pack yourbags, tell a friend and come on.

The following is a summary of the Pre-Summit Meeting.

On Saturday February the 19th, 2000 Executives representing the Local branches of AsabaNational Association (ANA) and the Members of the Board of Directors descended in Dallasto Map out a Strategy for Dallas 2000. The second biannual convention of Asaba NationalAssociation.

Eight of the nine branches of the local Associations were represented. This includes thenewly formed branches of Kansas City and Baton Rouge. North Carolina did not send arepresentative.

The meeting started at about 10.40 A.M with a prayer by Mr. Ben Phillips, the boardpresident. And then there was a roll call and introduction of all representatives. Thefollowing representatives were present:

After the introduction, the meeting started in earnest as the President of ANA, OgbueshiNwokobia addressed the issue of

ANA's financial position and suggested that we appointauditors to verify the financial position of the organization. This concluded with theappointment of a committee to Audit ANA's accounts.

The major item on the agenda was the presentation of a budgetfor Dallas 2000 by APF, Dallas. Mr. Ngozi Okotcha "EO" presentedThe budget on behalf of Dallas. The major items on the budget were:

Other Miscellaneous Receipts
The meeting ended at about 10 P.M with a show of solidarity and prayer By Mr. Ben Phillips.The details of the meeting will be provided soon to the representatives of each union andthe Members of the Board of Directors.
